How Miracle Ebube Found His Dream Career and Got Three Jobs Through Creaitz

Meet Ebube Miracle Ukpai, a proud member of the Creaitz community, who shared his inspiring journey with us. 

Through Creaitz, he gained access to invaluable courses, workshops, and seminars that eventually helped him secure three different jobs at some of the top companies in the country.

Today, he works as a content writer in Algorand Nigeria, and also serves as a community moderator for soccersm and DaoWakanda.

But how did free courses and resources turn him into a certified professional?
How did job search tips from the community lead to three different job offers?

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

My name is Ebube Miracle also known as JackofWeb3. I’m a Developer. I started with writing codes in the Web2 space, specializing in front end, and back end.

But at some point, due to some circumstances(lack of gadgets and resources), I had to stop writing codes, but I couldn’t just do anything so I decided to explore other things, at the moment, I’m a community moderator for 3 crypto projects.

I do participate in dev bounties and hackathons, but I don’t work as a developer at the moment.

How did you hear about the Creaitz community?

I heard about the Creaitz community in late 2023, I was invited to a Google Meet class on digital skills by a friend and it happened that the founder of Creaitz; Onyeka Adedayo, was the tutor. I am really glad I attended the class.

After the class, we were all directed to the Creaitz community to learn more about digital skills.

And it was in that class I made my first 20$, by participating in a task😀.

So why did you decide to join the Creaitz community?

Omo… it was initially because of the money. It was almost unbelievable winning 20$ for just a simple task in the Creaitz community.

Making that kind of money in the Web2 space isn’t very easy.

Afterward, I kept asking myself; what is the update? where are these people seeing so much money that they could easily give out like these?

More importantly, the values and resources the Creaitz community gave were immense and plentiful.

The community has provided so many valuable resources that are supposed to be paid for, but they made it all free.

Interesting😎. So how did you come about learning a digital skill in Creaitz?

I’ve always wanted to learn another digital skill aside from web development, but I’ve never gotten the push I needed. I always keep postponing, but when my laptop got spoilt, I was left with no choice.

It was at this time that I came across the Creaitz community and they are all about digital skills, upskilling, etcetera. 

There was this drive that the Creaitz community gave me at this point, and this helped me to go out of my comfort zone to upskill and be more.

As a newbie getting good resources to get you started is very hard, but then the Creaitz community provided all these for free.

They constantly provided resources for all of the community members and this was a great help to us.

Let’s get to the interesting part, how did Creaitz help you secure not even a job, but 3 different job roles, man, that’s a huge one, FR.

When it comes to applying for jobs in the Web3 space, I never DM clients or apply for jobs on job posts.

I mean I tried it, but guy, I got a lot of rejection emails (rejection emails full my Google mail😀).

So, I knew I wasn’t doing it right and needed to try another tactic.

At this time (and of course, judging from the past job rejections I’ve had), I wanted to take my time to become good at content writing, before applying for jobs again.

Coincidentally, Creaitz organized a training on content writing in January 2024. 

I participated. 

Built my skills. 

And tried a new tactic👇. 

I would research on the projects I was interested in, answer questions in their community, and create engagements. By doing this, the companies began to reach out to me and offer me community moderator jobs.

This tactic has worked for two different projects that I currently work for. 

The third role was a referral.

With my content writing knowledge, I decided to push for a content writing role.

I wrote a thread about an Algorand meme coin and it turned out that they were really impressed. 

They reached out to me themselves and offered me a job.

How did the Creaitz community Impact your journey?

10x!

Really, in terms of resources, Creaitz has always come through.

You’ll find resources on how to write content, marketing, how to use hooks and so many other priceless resources that are made available for free.

There’s nothing more I can ask for.

And the Creaitz community is like a family.

Whatever thing you need to help you; career-wise, you will always find somebody who knows somebody that can do or provide that thing at Creaitz.

Like, I’ve never seen that kind of thing before. You can never be lost in the Creaitz community.

Today when I tell people that I joined the Web3 space in 2023, they find it hard to believe because of the things I’ve achieved.

I’ve engaged several people who had been in this same job search process in the crypto space for about 4 to 5 years but haven’t gotten any job, but I was very lucky to come across the Creaitz community where I learned the rules to bagging roles easily, which helped me land jobs.

I’ve come a long way and it’s because of the community.

So, what would you say to someone considering joining the Creaitz community?

I’ll tell the person to go for it.

Being a member of the Creaitz community, you can be sure that you’re not alone.
